Brookwood Properties, Inc., the developer of Dunham Marsh, has more than 25 years of experience developing more than a dozen planned communities in Northern Florida, the mountains of North Carolina and the Coastal Empire of Georgia. The developer is a family operated company, headed by Tom Turner and his son Brett Turner, who is the chief executive and general manager for Dunham Marsh. The firm is well-respected for its commitment to quality in every community it has built.

The Turners operate on a team concept, assembling professionals from various disciplines involved in the development and marketing process of a new community to provide the skill necessary to achieve the highest standards of quality. Included on the Dunham Marsh Team are: Design Works of Charleston, Dawson, Wissmach Architects of Savannah, Moser Design Group of Beaufort, CNSG-Hilton Head and Sea Island Bank.

DesignWorks was selected to oversee the land plan, develop the amenity package and design the landscape of the parks and open spaces. The firm's credentials include numerous architectural awards and involvement in such renowned communities as Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill and Daniel Island in Charleston.

Dawson Wissmach Architects is a Savannah-based, full-service architectural firm whose mission is to provide clients with designs that inspire their environment and create a better community.

The firm – led by principals Neil Dawson and Richard K. Wissmach - focuses on custom residential designs, commercial projects and recreational creations, including Richmond Hill’s upcoming conference and aquatic center.
Dawson and Wissmach’s clients include the Savannah College of Art and Design, property owners in Bluffton’s Palmetto Bluff community, The Shore on Islamorada, Fla., Armstrong Atlantic State University, and numerous restorers of historic commercial and residential properties.

Dawson and Wissmach has frequently won professional awards, including several Historic Savannah Foundation preservation awards, recognition by the Savannah chapter of the American Institute of Architects, an award from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and a Leed Silver Certificate for energy and efficiency design.

Moser Design Group of Beaufort, SC is a consulting architect to Dunham Marsh and was brought on board because of its extensive experience in designing traditional neighborhoods, the most prominent being Habersham in Beaufort County, SC. The firm is widely known in architectural circles for its understanding of the New Urbanism movement, and its talent has been recognized by numerous publications. The Group designed Coastal Living's "Cottage of the Year" in 2002.

Sea Island Bank is one of the leading financial institutions serving developers today along the Southeast Coast. The bank is highly regarded for its understanding of the unique needs of the real estate development industry.
